Tucked away off Federal Highway in Boca is the best burger in at least the 561, and the first burger to have defeated me! I'm talking about a burger too big to finish, that gave me meat sweats, and full nap when I got home...and I'll be back for more! I heard about Boca Burger House from my friend Brenna R's review, and decided to check it out since it's about 10 minutes from one of my construction sites. After GPS pointed me in a ability residential neighborhood I saw it next to a tattoo place and barbershop. With a few outside tables, the inside has a mix of different craft beers and a schematic of different cuts of meat drawn on a cow. The owner was there, pleasantly greeting everyone and the waitresses were just as sweet checking on my order and keeping the soda refills coming. My Yelp check-in hooked me up with a free plate of thick cut fries, with a perfect sheen and a helping of sweet BBQ sauce. My main course was my (attempt at) finishing their delicious Big Boy Brisket. As the name implies, I ate two juicy beef patties mixed in with provolione, cheddar and swiss along with veggie fixings. Fat Boy Carnivore heaven! I suppose there could have been a little more BBQ sauce in the patty but thankfully had the sauces with the fries. Alas, I could only finish 3/4 of my burger and will have to be back for another attempt.

I was surprised how average the food was considering the high rating here on Yelp. Not bad food but not 4 star in my opinion. Tried the chili cheese fries to start. If my star rating was based on this dish alone it would have been 1 star. Regular looking fries (Ore-Ida quality), topped with what I can only guess was canned meat chili and generic cheese sauce. Not appetizing at all. The burger faired a bit better. Large, juicy and cooked well. I tried the Rodeo burger whose main claim to fame is a bear battered onion ring on a bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. The ring was soft, soggy and the onion slid right out of the batter on the first bite. Any onion ring lover of any caliber knows this is the ultimate fail when it comes to onion rings. I would like to say that where the food was lacking the service more that made up for it. Our server was sweet, attentive and friendly. I didn't catch her name but whomever was working on Saturday, Sept. 19th, around 1pm - thank you again!

The air conditioning was broken, it was 100 degrees inside. The father and son were cursing in front of my family. The waitress looked like a crack head. The place is way over priced. Go to Meat 1/2 mile south on Federal Hwy for a much better experience.

What a great place! The service is amazing and everything is delicious. The hamburgers are huge and the fries are enough for 3 people. I have nothing but good to say about this place. Shake Shack pales in comparison. The hamburgers are even bigger than Zinburgers.

The one star is not for the food but for how the staff is treated. That in it self ruins what should be a great meal . The burgers are by far the beast I have ever had but how could I enjoy it with someone yelling at the staff . I can not ignore the horrible ways the staff is treated. I have visited this location about 6 times in the past 3 month. Some guy with glasses stands around barking at at the staff while the servers run around looking frazzled and lost . The music is way to loud inside and outside is even worse. One time a server was in the middle of taking another tables order and left to answer the phone. Another time I walked in with a female co-worker the server quickly greeted us and explained we could have a seat anywhere not more then 2 seconds I could hear " A GO CHECK OUT THOSE PEOPLE NOW " we hadn't even gotten to the table and I'm not a fan of my server stalking me so that left a bad taste and set the tone for another harsh meal. On another vist I could over hear (due to how loud he was) telling the server to just SHUT UP and a few other choice words followed. When she came back to the table she looked as if she was about to cry. She gave us our drinks but she never came back after that , the guy with glasses did and told us she was " Crazy and didn't know what she was doing" I doubt that was the story but inappropriate none the less. Then the reason I decided to take the time to write this happen.Yesterday I walk in but just wanted to order take out the girl was really nice and asked if she could take our order and offered us a seat and water. I asked for a few minutes I was there with my co-worker so we needed time. This older man comes out from the kitchen and yells something at the male server then looks at us and says WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ORDER . My co worker gave me look and said she was leaving and we walked out. Let me not forget that they don not have A/C and the server is usually covered in sweat and you will be as well if it happens to be busy which it usually is. So if you decide to see the show have fun but if you enjoy peace the just order on the phone or online. I'm surprised they allow this but the Burgers are amazing.

Boca Burger House is top notch! I have eaten here twice - once my coworker and I enjoyed a lunch where we shared two burgers and once for delivery. Both times the food and service were absolutely stellar. The portions are HUGE and the ingredients are fresh. They are totally cool with adjustments where needed, and everything has been so flavorful. So far I have tried the Manhattan burger, the El Paso burger, and the Veggie Delight burger. Not a single complaint - all three were tasty in their own unique way. When eating in we had a couple beers (they have coolers with oodles of beers to choose from. They also have wine options), and some free fries offered with checking in on Yelp. We left stuffed and happy from this laid back and friendly burger joint. Also, the perk of ordering online with them on Eat24 - they included COOKIES! Who doesn't love cookies?! They were fresh and absolutely delish. The delivery was quick with a friendly driver. All in all a solid spot with great service and even better food.

My rating is on the delivery service. I had ordered a couple salads, an order of 10 wings, a side of fries, 3 desserts, and a burger. I added notes to the online order but the delivery person failed to read it. I had specifically added which gate entrance to enter at and also the gate code to enter, and the apartment number but all this was ignored and when the driver arrived at one of the gates of the apartment complex, instead of saying the usual "hello, this is Boca Burger house...", he starts yelling at me over the phone about why I won't let him into the complex. Wow. Yelling. Yea, that's professional...not. I just want to say if you're a driver for a 4-star restaurant, do your part also. You're not just expected to transport orders. Read the damn notes on the online order too and never result to yelling at the customer you're calling. Yelling is never a good thing to be used as a greeting. That really gives a poor impression especially since this was my first time ordering from you and I believed my fellow yelpers who wrote good things about this place. For the kitchen and chef, 4/5 stars. Thank you for reading my notes on the online order. Separating the dressing and no walnuts on one of the salads was very important. I love the large portion of food. But the flavors for the wings and burger were slightly flavorless. Before making assumptions, the avocado in the salad were not sliced, is that usually a signature detail of your salads? Also, the lid of the box that the wings came in was cracked open and by the time it arrived to my apartment, the wings and drumsticks were COLD. The desserts are yummy. Thanks!

There's nothing like a good burger and we all can agree with that. That's probably why here are so many businesses opening up claiming to have the next big hit burger but many fall short from delivering on those promises. But to be honest... You can't reinvent the burger, it's as simple as meat, veggies and a bun. Surprisingly... Let me rephrase, happily surprised, Boca Burger house meets and exceeds expectations. Their burgers are big, juicy, tasty and above all made with fresh ingredients. To top it all off, they offer an assortment of different burgers with not so typical toppings and what not. And if you are into beer, they carry lots and lots of different brands that are sure to delight your taste buds. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a new and good burger spot in Boca Raton.

This place is consistently great! The house special burger is absolutely ridiculously delicious. Service is always fast and friendly. I highly recommend the chips over the fries, they are awesome! Really have nothing bad to say about this place other than my scale is going to say "one at a time" tonight. Whew, time for a nap!!!

Really great burgers! Excellent service! Very casual atmosphere with friendly people, which is not always the case in east Boca. We will definitely be back soon!

Love love love. My husband, baby and mother-in-law, ate here for an early dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed all of what we ordered. Between the 3 of us, we shared the large order of sweet potato fries, which was plenty! They were hot, delicious, and seemed like they were made to order! As for the burgers; they were outstanding and cooked just how we asked. My husband got the Philly Burger and enjoyed every bite. My mother-in-law and got just got plain 1/2 lb burgers and loved it just as much. The meat is juicy and flavorful. We finished every bite! The house sauce that the burgers come with is a pleasant surprise and extremely tasty. As wonderful as the food is, the service is just as great!! Luis and Dennis were particularly excellent servers. Attentive and informative! We really had a good experience and will be dining there again soon!

Excellent food! Tried for the first time and will definitely be back. I ordered online through yelp and it was ready in less than 15 mins. The bonus treat they threw in for my kids was also most appreciated!

This is a new restaurant. My husband and I went to their grand opening ribbon cutting. We got there a few minutes late and there was already a lot of people trying the food. A long table was set up with several serving dishes. You could help yourself to glasses of beer. The servers were pouring the wine. They also had soft drinks. They had half hamburgers with their special sauce. The hamburgers were tasty, but the bun was so big the burger got lost in it. I thought the sauce was delicious. There was a tray of pickles that went well with the burger. We also got to try falafel, sliced potatoes, onion rings, and chicken wings. I saw sandwich wraps come out of the kitchen but they were gone before I got to try them. The food was very good. I'm not a big fan of chicken wings, but these were perfectly cooked. Everything I tried was delicious. They also had cut up pieces of their desserts. The restaurant had tables and chairs inside. There's was a side room with booths and a few table. There were also several tables outside. We got the last booth in the side room. The booth was comfortable, but the room was so hot. I asked one of the servers if the air conditioner was working. She said it was on the coldest setting but it was probably hot because they were crowded. In spite of the rainy weather, we went outside to escape the heat. The service was wonderful. The trays of food were constantly refilled and the tables were cleared as soon as someone left. Everyone who worked there went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming.

Good burger on soft roll, served with nice ripe tomatoes and fresh Romaine lettuce. . Nice family owned and operated. Recommend for a good burger and more.

Definitely an interesting little hidden gem. I don't think I would have ever found this on my own had friends not taken us - it's tucked away in a corner of a strip mall next to a tattoo shop. I actually thought it was called Tattoo Burger House at first. I may have been tipsy getting here though. So oops. Let's start with the fact that this review is influenced by 3 beers. I didn't get beer here, I drank like 5 waters, but they do have bottled beer and a pretty decent variety. I split the Super House special with my husband. The burger was good - a little dry for my tastes, but good. I wasn't the biggest fan of the meat blend they use, but loved the toppings and idea. I liked the onion rings a lot and thought the flavor of the burger was great, but definitely not my favorite in the area. The French fries were great - crispy and just a little salty like I like. They were a good match to the burger. Very good for a meal after you have already been drinking. Our waitress was nice and patient with us, and the food came quickly. It's a nice place and definitely well priced!

I am NOT a burger person BUT I get the urge every now and then...this place was GREAT! My husband is a chef and he said he could tell the meat was fresh and had plenty of toppings! We will def be back!

We were there months ago - just realized I never reviewed and want to remember we ate here since it was good. Nice selection of craft beers including Bell's and if memory serves Founders. Burger delicious.

Wow that was a good burger. It doesn't come with fries but believe me you will not need them, this burgers are huge. I got the rodeo and it was massive and delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Also have a bunch of beers to choose from and happy hour between 4 and 6 and 9 to 11.

Came here on the recommendation of yelp: for a good burger place at night. The place has been open for about 5 months. At first I could not locate the place. Once I found it it was easy to enter. It and the aroma of hamburger was in the air. They have indoor seating with menus so I sat down and ordered a water. When I first got inside I could see that it was a mom and pop type of restaurant which I like. The different types of burgers were written on the wall in chalk which made it easy to see. I had a few questions and the waitress was very nice. I ordered an Angus burger with provolone cheese medium 2 medium rare somewhere in there. And a small basket of fries. It took about maybe 10 15 to come out. Let me say this if you like a greasy burger or a burger with a lot of juice in it this is the burger for you. If you like a dry burger or one its not juicy don't try this burger. This burger reminded me of the days of Fuddruckers. the bun was outstanding and I really enjoyed the way they stacked the tomatoes and lettuce. But tomatoes were small but stack like deck of cards. The onions were as well. The lettuce was a stack of lettuce, not pieces of lettuce. It was pretty cool. the French fries were really good but there's just too much for one person. I came out of that restaurant stuffed which is not easy. Eating my burger all I could think of was bringing all of my friends back to this restaurant to eat this amazing burger.

Wowww. I'm beyond dissatisied tonight. First time and last time patronizing this place. Ordered 2 burgers with cheese and fries for take out. Was really looking forward to the fries since I don't eat them very often. Got home and there were NO EFFING FRIES in my bag. Called to let them know in the nicest way that my fries weren't included in my take out bag. The guy told me he never heard me ask for fries and that they weren't included in my bill. Checked my bill after we hung up (which was not itemized) and it was $21.60. I don't/ can't believe that the price I paid didn't include fries. The dude on the phone took my dissatistication from the missing fries to a whole new level by flat out lying to me. Burger was not all that. Business skills and competence lacking by the staff. I rate this place a big fat NA (never again)!

Came here for the first time tonight cause they're close to where I live and there were mostly good reviews on yelp and google. Was NOT disappointed! Service was good, we were tended to right away and told to sit wherever. Waitress came back with menus and asked for our drink order. I asked for a beer suggestion (since I read about their good selection), told her what kind of beer I like and she asked if she could pick something for me. Sure! She brought me back a Blue Star. Delicious! I'm not a huge beer person, so I usually like them light and citrus-y. The choice she brought me suited my tastes and went great with the meal. I ordered an FAU burger, my friend ordered the Manhatten. Both burgers were cooked as we had asked and looked delicious. Mine was piled with some of the best bacon on a burger I've ever had. When I get bacon on a burger I want it to CRUNCH, no chewy parts at all, and that's exactly what I got--it's amazing that more places can't get this right. The burgers were huge too, we each took half of ours home for leftovers. We also ordered the regular house fries. They were crispy and hot, just as a fry should be. Nothing special, but very well done basic fries. Overall I was extremely satisfied with everything from the service, to the atmosphere, down to the food. I will definitely be back (probably a lot.)

Wow!!! One of the most amazingly juicy burgers ever. We got take out last night, 4 different types of burgers and they were all great, the california burger was my fave- jalapeños make it!! Staff is so polite and great and Amanda was extra helpful helping me carry my giant order out to the car and giving me plenty of plastic ware, plates etc...we just flew into south Florida last night. We'll definitely be back! Thanks guys!

Holy cow. We've been here once before but haven't been back in a while, and are perplexed as to why we haven't been WAY more often. Incredible burgers, fries and the beer selection is awesome, especially if you are a fan of the craft selections/IPAs! Great happy hour deals, tucked back behind Publix off Spanish river & federal/Dixie, promise you won't be disappointed! Service rocks too, great staff.

I happened to spot this place and decided to try this place ...i loved the set up and deco but the rudeness of the one and only server put a bad taste in my mouth before I even tried the food. I went to order and realized I was not looking at the complete menu when the waitress Rudely said to me if you're not ready you can go by the table (where there was a menu) and decide..i was actually ready to order but I had to step aside to cool my temper. I still decided to try this place trying not to let the service kill it. I instantly went on yelp too rate this experience and noticed that yelp had a 1 free fries offer which I asked the waitress and again she looked at me and blatantly walked away...at the end of the day the cashier/cook or probably owner for all I know was nice enough to honor the offer since I ordered fries before seeing the offer. This was about as good as it got..there are alot of burger joints and something as simple as customer service could have really set them apart from the others. I saw the decorations and crazy selection of craft beers and was about to recommend this place to my coworkers and friends..but this was an absolute thumbs down. Btw burgers were ok and the free fries was the best thing that I had.

I have given this place a few tries but I am disappointed every time! I don't know what the heck they are doing. I ordered chicken tenders thinking it's impossible to mess up such a staple. The chicken had the texture and appearance of fried fish. I was confused about what I ordered and had to call back and let my friends taste it. The cole slaw was so mushy I couldn't eat it. Wish they had better food as this so close to my work.

These burgers are to die for!!! Best burgers in town hands down! Presentations are works of art & stacked high. Alex and his Dad have a real winner here as the owners and their service level is also a testimony to their love of their customers dining experience. Whenever we have guests in town we take them there as a treat. My wife, Morher-in-law & I go often. Everything we've tried is absolutely delicious!!! Try it, you'll love it!!!

I went back with my boyfriend on a Saturday evening. We both ordered different burgers and they were very tasty and good portion sizes as well! We also shared an order of fries that were very delicious and we loved the sauces as well. The burgers were a bit large and messy, very hard to eat without a fork and knife, but very tasty nonetheless. This place is reasonably priced for the portion sizes and taste and has a nice selection of beer as well. The pies look delicious and they have their own bakery off-site, I will have to try those next time.

Burgers are really good here. Just be careful of your doneness request as they have a habit of undercooking a bit.

  • Mackenzie L.

The service was terrible. Went there on my lunch hour, and we had to flag someone down after 10 minutes just to take our drink order, and there was only 1 other table full. The burgers were not that great. Very messy, not especially flavorful. The sweet potato fries were not good at all.

I wish I would've taken a picture for you all BUT I Inhaled my burger. I had the California but with a Turkey patty instead which the patty itself was nicely flavored. The grilled onions were nicely browned, the tomatoes were rich in color and the cheese was nice and melty. My friend had an FAU burger which she wanted "Well done" and was given to her RAW instead. YUCK! I know she was disappointed because we had picked up our orders to go. I was confused as to why the place was empty during lunch time, But i will definitely go again when I need a burger fix. Update: I went again a few weeks ago. Burgers were delicious. and I'm addicted to their Key Lime Pie. My only complaint is that they are pretty pricey. If their burgers included fries I would definitely go there more often.

Less than a month ago a fresh smell of grease hit the air in Boca Raton. Just west of Federal Highway on Spanish River Blvd lies the Boca Burger House. This little burger joint is packing a serious punch. Monster sized burgers with fresh toppings creating a mouthwatering experience. We popped in for lunch to an empty dining room (12pm) but that soon changed as every booth was full within 15 min. Not even a month in business and word is spreading... The menu is pretty straight forward. They don't go crazy with "pub style / hand crafted / gourmet" burgers... They stick to the basics and do them well. Big Mat with Cheese , NickFuse joined myself, Lunchbox for the afternoon delight. We all found something different to order... Big Mat with Cheese went with the Black n' White Burger with added jalapeños (kid loves his jalapeños). NickFuse had the California Burger. While Lunchbox went with the Super House Special. All in all, we were pretty unanimous that the flavors of each burger was great. However, the toppings may of been a bit overwhelming. Just too much. Every combination of flavor for the burgers was spot on. The cilantro dip on the California burger was perfect. Keep that with a simple slice of red onion and keep the avocado and the burger is perfectly light with a spicy kick. Not falling apart as soon as you pick it up. Also, the fried egg and bacon on the Super House Burger were right on but the amount of onion... 2 fully sliced onions just was overkill & not enough "magic sauce". Lastly, the Blue Cheese on the Black n' White was very fresh just overpowering when every single bite is fully loaded with blue cheese. Sometimes it can be too much. DO NOT SKIP DESSERT!!!! WOW! We had to try the homemade, yes home made pies! Boca Style creamy cheesecake with a bit of a ricotta cheese filling. A NY Style turtle cheesecake. Lastly we tried the Islamorada style Key lime Pie. I'm not sure what awards they have won for what seems to be self-proclaimed "award winning burgers" but I can tell you that these dessert are officially in 1st place in my book!

Just came back from here today. I ordered the Boca Burger and it met all expectations. The meat was high quality, there was LOTS of bacon, the cheese was fresh and tasty, and the vegetables on top were great. Had a side of the fried potato slices and they were delicious. The only thing I didn't find great was the "special sauce"...it was basically mayo(idk if there wasn't enough of it to tell or what, but it didn't seem that special to me). There's actually a server that will come to your table and ask you if you need any refills or anything. The server was very nice and I will definitely return. Great selection of wine and craft beers. There's also take out as well. When I walked in, I had in my head that I would compare it to Charm City Burger Co. And I did. They are a great comparison. Both have great quality burgers and they will be great competitors.

This was our second visit and the food was almost as good as the first time. There is an older man working that is rude! I won't be going back unless this man is taught some manners or stays in the back! He brought our food out and wanted to know who order the burger with American cheese and 3 of us had but had requested different amounts of doneness so we were waiting for him to tell us when he said to us "hello" - I almost left the restaurant at that point. Difficult to get refills. Good service is just as important as good food!! One star because of service!

  • Patrick F.

Beer selection is good, service OK. Cook doesn't know the difference between medium and medium rare, apparently. Also don't see the point in piling the toppings so high that you can't get your hands on the burger. Meat tasted OK, but I spent too much time pulling whole pieces of onion and tomato out with every bite that I couldn't really tell.

Great find! Had the California burger perfection. Chose the house made chips instead of fries great dipping sauce. Beer selection is huge. Music choice really pleasant. Nothing worse then trying to eat with music blasting level kept at a conversational. Thank you.

My wife and I visited for the first time tonight. We were politely greeted upon entering and chose a booth for seating. The place was clean but a little cluttered with tables and boxes on the floor. We both ordered the Boca Burger and split a spicy potato fry order. We were treated well by the servers and found them pleasant and attentive. When the food arrived, the burgers looked fantastic. Plenty of cheese and a good amount of bacon to make them stand out. Nice buns and fresh fixings as a compliment. We ordered our burgers medium but to our surprise they were both delivered very well done. Kind of ruined the food experience. We were offered new burgers but declined. Just not our style to waste food. The spicy potato fry was different. Sliced potatoes fried with a buffalo sauce on top. Not what we expected at all. Would prefer a dry seasoning instead of a sloppy topping that wasn't all that spicy. Giving three stars for the effort and potential. We will give it another try to see if their burger cooked to order is better and maybe try the wings. Not the quality of Big Joes but better in house seating.

This place has the best burgers in town, bar none. Probably the best in South Florida. Ok the world. I got the El Paso and it was amazing. Never had a better burger, when I gave my compliments to the chef he came out and gave me a big hug. Will definitely be back. Both my wife and I enjoyed the meal thoroughly. We couldn't even finish half the burger it was so big and the taste was absolutely unbeatable.

Eh. The food is decent nothing too great. The wait staff could be more attentive. They advertise fench fries but you receive home fry still potatoes slices. Told the manager about my experience and he didn't seem to care. Lackluster food, poor service. I won't be back.

Best burger I've had in Boca Raton. The city needs more of these type of places. Only downside is not enough FAU pride, though glad to see an FAU burger on the menu!

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich plain with chipotle mayo and avocado and nothing else. They charged me 1.50 for the mayo and 1.50 for the avocado. Plus the chicken sandwich was $10 to start off. This is with no fries. Most expensive chick sandwich I have had in a long while. Way too expensive.

To start out, this place is probably a 3.5 star but I had a good burger and want to be nice. Came in for lunch last week. I walked in and was seated in a booth in the dining area to the right as you walk in. The first thing you notice is the lack of good air conditioning. There is a wall unit AC at one end. It looks like this part of the restaurant was a storage room or at least an afterthought. They have a great selection of burgers and I picked the black and blue which has blue cheese on it. Everything is a la-carte which I find weird for a burger place so I ordered a side order of skinny fries. I've seen some of the reviews about the weird wide chips so I went with the standard fries. The burger came out, nicely presented on a platter with a wooden pick through the middle holding the lettuce, tomato and onion in place. These items were super fresh, juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce and onions. The burger was very flavorful and juicy. I got the special sauce on the side and dabbed that on here and there. The fries were a big disappointment. I expected skinny fries to be crispy kind of like Mc Donalds but these were laying in a lifeless soggy pile in a bowl. They had OK flavor but were not what I expected and not a good presentation either. My suggestion would be to have lunch specials with a burger, fries and a drink as a combo. Mot people don't need an whole big bowl of fries as a side for lunch. If dining alone, it's just too much!

I am not from this area but chose to eat here on vacation. Ordered the rodeo burger and the chipotle burger and a side of fries. Food was good fresh and hot. We got delivery and it only took about 15 minutes and everything was ready when we got there. Two thumbs up would come back again.

Finally, I have found a great burger place! The brisket makes these burgers unbelievably juicy and delicious. The prices may seem a bit high for some people but it is well worth it. Everything is made fresh and you get a lot for your money. My wife and I have been there a few times and each time we are met with welcoming smiles. The owners and workers are all extremely friendly and always go out of their way to make us feel at home. I can't wait to go back!

I had the Falafel Wrap there and it was amazing!!!!! One of the best wraps I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh and the falafel were cooked to perfection! Plus a great selection of beers. I had a pumpkin beer! I will be coming back. I liked the location and the price.

DAMN! I just chowed down on the best burger I've had in ages. I'm visiting Boca from Tampa and thank heaven's for Yelp. I was so in the mood for a good burger and this one was so damn yummy I finished it before I could even take a picture. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely be back!!!

The California burger was nearly as large as the state itself, as were all of the other portions of food we received! "Mr. Dennis", as our girls referred to our waiter, was friendly and made us feel at home! The beer list is extensive, as were the choices on the dinner menu.

I probably shouldn't be blabbing this all over town like I do or I'll never be able to get a table when I get there, but I just love this place! The food is GREAT! Not only the fantastic burgers but everything I've had has been out of this world delicious! Everything tastes especially delicious - even the hamburger buns which my brother-in-law, who is a real bread lover noticed that they weren't your run of the mill buns. He asked the owner about them and we learned they are challah buns specially made for Boca Burger House! The homemade fries - all the different kinds- are extra delicious and so are the sauces they give you for dipping them. I had the sweet potato fries the last time we were there and dipped in honey, well, I just didn't want to leave any over!! The owners and staff are about the nicest people you will ever meet! It makes the whole experience of great food, a comfortable, clean restaurant (with TVs), great prices and warm, friendly people who give you great service- an experience that's hard not to get hooked on! Like I am sooo hooked!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Or more!

BURGER REVIEW: 3 STARS. BUT THE SERVICE MADE ME GIVE THEM AN EXTRA STAR. We ordered 2 burgers, they came out, stacked super high, but not much substance in them to be honest. havent been back since the first time and am not really planning on going back any time soon. i know they're a new place so want to give them the benefit of the doubt on here.

Worst service I've ever had in my life! I placed an order for delivery and it took almost 2 hours for me to receive my food and it was a greasy mess. I called them after 1 hour and the girl who answered the phone said they were just bagging my food and it was going to be delivered. Almost another entire hour passes, and still no food. When I called them about it, a man answered and said they were extremely busy. I told him that I didn't want to pay for my food, and stated I could have driven 5 mins to pick up the food but instead I wanted to enjoy a nice evening at home. The man on the phone told me I should have come in to pick up the food instead of ordering delivery. Excuse me??!? When I asked to speak with the manager he told me the manager was busy. I told him I would hold for the manager until he was available. Then the man hung up on me. I will never eat here again. And I will tell everyone that this place has the worst service I've ever experienced. How can an establishment can treat their customers this way?? Not to mention after all the time we waited, our food was a greasy mess with 1/2 an avocado just thrown on top of a chipotle burger. This experience was so bad that if they charge my credit card, I will dispute the charges. Never again..... And I'm only giving them 1 star because I am not able to post this review without a rating.

Love this place, great burgers. Nice mom's and pop's type of place. They have wine and beer too. As well as tv's to watch games. Its like your at home.

This was our first visit to the burger house and we were not disappointed. The burger was excellent and they have a great selection of craft beers. We have always been Charm City Burger fans but I think this place will be our new favorite burger joint!

Everywhere I go these days I see "award winning" signs. Everybody is winning awards. Well check this out, I'm an award winning Yelper. That's my award. King of Pop, King of all Media, let me give myself a self-proclaimed award as King of Boca. This place has tons of potential but it was literally 98 degrees (the hell with Nick Lachey) inside, so I'm guessing either they were having issues with their a/c or they prefer to sweat like USA vs. Portugal in the amazon. The menu is simple and it seems to kinda have this craft beer vibe, but I was thoroughly disappointed with their selections. All domestics, which is fine, but if you're into beer you'll see its your basic Magic Hats and such. It would be awesome to see some higher end beer. I went to Tucker Dukes the other day and at least they had Chimay. Which by the way, is a perfect compliment to any burger. Their beer menu had at least 30-40 beers if not more but I settled on a good ol' Yuengling. So both gripes are fixable and have nothing to do with the actual food. All I got today was a steak Philly. My dumb ass didn't look at the menu as the waitress came so I just ordered what looked appetizing to me. Later I realized it was an actual cheese steak not a burger. All good, it was pretty great actually. Being that I didn't really look at the menu, I didn't realize that all burgers come with house sauce. I'm not sure what it is, mayo, mustard, ranch, whatever. I hated it. I asked for a separate bun and they obliged like Bubbles from The Wire. Their fries I hear are great, but cat daddy over here ain't looking at catching a triple bypass anytime soon so a burger and beer will have to suffice. Would I go back? You bet your sweet little ass I would. I hope by then they fix their a/c. Prices are right. Happy hour seems good, their service is really really good. I like this place and I'm sure after awhile they'll find their grove like Stella. And speaking of Stella, that would be a great f'ing beer to drink while taking out a burger and some fries.

Found this place by accident and so grateful we did. The best brisket and turkey burgers and everything was so fresh.

Got exactly what I hoped for - a big, classic style burger. The meat was cooked how I asked for it, medium rare, and the bread was fantastic. The toppings were very fresh as well. I'll be back.

I don't throw around the best word ever, but this truly is one of the best burgers I've had. If not the best. So much flavor. Cooked perfectly and very filling. I'd recommend the Idaho fries to be split. Lots of TV's for the size of the place, so you can watch a game there. I live down the road and will be back for sure!

What a joke this place this!!! Can't deliver a decent hamburger, or cook it at temperature ordered. Tried several times to give this place a chance and they messed it up every time. Live half mile from the place, took 1.5 hrs to realize I wasn't hot food, canceled order, called owner and he told me to find somewhere else....No worries I did....beware order at your own risk and go hungry or somewhere else....

Good food the first time around. Got take out the second time and wasn't as happy when I found a fly in my lettuce :/ Third time was okay as well, nothing too fancy. Staff tends to lag even when its not busy. The black a blue burger is delicious though. Definitely would reccomend that if you go here

  • Bill W.

Three strikes and you're out. Burger pizza was a mess. Boca bacon burger was a mess. Philly burger was a mess. Fries are "potato slices" (not wedges, not fry cut) and limp. Horrible paper on the bottom of the metal "plate" that gets soggy and ends up in your food. Service is mediocre. 2 stars for flavor. I've tried. I'm done.

The absolute worst burger I've ever had, the fries were horrible and the prices are outrageous. They will never see my business or recommendation as long as I live. Sorry brutally honest

The challah bun is excellent...very soft. The onion rings are great as well. The gimmick is that it's piled high with two thick slices of raw onion (unnecessary with the onion rings), two thick slices of tomato, and an inordinate amount of lettuce. At least all three of these ingredients were fresh and colorful, but the amount served was quite wasteful. The egg was good, as was the bacon, but the burger was served with the egg 3/4 off the sandwich, making it unusually messy and hard to eat. And the most disappointing: the cheese was not melted. The last thing I want to taste is a slice of non-melted cheese on a burger. Yuck! As for the meat, it was decent but overcooked...ordered medium, served medium well. It did the job of a local, reasonably-priced hangover cure, but this burger-loving fanatic is not running back.

  • Rob K.

My expectations were high based on the reviews. I guess I was expecting too much. The burgers were just okay but nothing gourmet. Service was mediocre. Slightly overpriced in my opinion. $40 for three burgers and a single order of fries? Specialty burger restaurants are popping up all over the place so you need to do a lot more to differentiate yourself. This place doesn't do it. Five guys is a much better alternative. I would not go back.

Excellent burger! No questions hands down. Fore go the fries and get house made chips. Wow..... fair selection of craft beers. Inside doesn't seem clean. I mean the floors have not been attended to of recent. Maybe the owner is still trying to work the new opening wrinkles. However outstanding burger.

Had a delivery of the black and white burger along with the quinoa salad and the chili. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasty. Fresh toppings of tomatoes, onions, and crisp lettuce. Haven't tried the salad or chili yet but if it's anything like the burger I'll enjoy it.

My wife and I had lunch at the Burger House today and it was everything I had hoped it would be. I had a delicious burger loaded with blue cheese and she had a portabello "burger" that was covered with cheese and roasted eggplant! Yummy. We will definitely go back.

This place has okay burgers - nothing special. Their fries were totally soggy. If this only happened once, I wouldn't mind, but I've eaten here 3 times and their fries are always soggy. The amount of tomatoes, lettuce and onions that they pile on your burger is silly - it's stacked about 8" high when you get your burger. The last time I went there, I wanted to try their "World Famous Wings" - I'm not sure what world it's famous in, because it wasn't all that great. The waitresses are a bit ditzy, but very nice. Also, the amount of grease in the air is a little too much for me to bear. There's not enough ventilation in their kitchen. It felt like I walked in with straight hair and came out with jerry-curls.

We love the burgers. Great flavor and enough interesting toppings to let most find a favorite. Consistent across multiple visits, which is a good thing as many places aren't these days. Beef always has a nice flavor. The downsides are few: not the best location, the fries are just ok, not as many exotic toppings as some offer.

Without question, the best tasting burger I've had IN YEARS by far!!! So much flavor bursting out of one enormous sandwich. Order a side of mouth watering, onion rings also, you can't go wrong. Curiously tucked away in a quiet strip center just behind publix off US-1 in Boca, you will find this hidden gem that is certain to not disappoint. It's reputation for five star worthy praise preceded our visit ( Boca Burger suprisingly surpassed my very lofty expectations ) we were welcomed by the most friendly of staff, our waitress Amanda. Her smile set the tone for what was to become an extremely pleasant outing. She was extraordinarily helpful, using her extensive knowledge of the vast array of beers which Boca Burger has to offer to pair just the right beer with my meal. It is a relaxing, calm, and basically fun atmosphere where you are able to just let go and enjoy the experience without the feeling of being rushed. We sat and chatted amongst ourselves and with Amanda for nearly two hours. Thank you Amanda and thank you to the father and son team at Boca Burger for making casual dining a pleasurable experience once again with five star quality nutrition.

I love this place so much. I have visited it plenty of times in person and I just had a lazy day so I decided to order delivery. I would not recommend the delivery, the food was still good but everything I got was overcooked and that has never happen before. If you're gonna go here, and you should, then definitely don't get delivery. This may have just been a bad night but just a heads up.

This is the second time eating here. This place is amazing and the atmosphere outside was awesome. The burgers are soooo good. They are so big and tasty you have to cut in half. Great price. The selection of beers are real good and the fries are big enough to share with 2. You gotta check this out. The owner, Alex is great and I know you will enjoy it!

I work for a delivery company that was contracted to distubite their orders. We recently terminated our service to them due to their late orders ( subsequently the costumers get mad at us unaware that Boca's employees were the ones taking forever to make the orders ready for pick up). Their food would end up being soggy and/or cold. Most importantly their racist antics where disheartening and bad for business. The would treat our minority employees very poorly by purposely sabotaging orders and blaming it on our employees so that we can fire them. Just to have an excuse to not have minorities making deliveries for them. Also asking them to not park in front of the store, causing orders to be late because they were coerced to park further away which made orders late as well. The owner made comments against our African-American employees saying that they look like rappers. The staff even displayed homophobic misbehavior towards a nice couple with their adopted kids. I find this kind of behavior repulsive and our company will no longer do business with them. If we did it would be condoning this attitude towards the diversity of our community. Too often we overlook these types of incidents and turn a blind eye to it (Myself included). We believe in good ole fashion costumer and therefore will not tolerate these type of shananigans any longer. If we continued to do business with them it would be a bad lack of judgment and injustice to our staff, costumers, and community. *Thanks for taking your time to read this*

This place was awesome! Visiting from out of town and was looking for somewhere close to the hotel. Came across this place on yelp and saw it had good reviews so decided to check it out. The chili cheese fries were awesome and the boca burger was pretty dang good too! Tip: burgers are huge!!!

I just ate at Burger House today for lunch and honestly it was the most under-seasoned hamburger I have ever had. I also ordered the sweet potato fries which were supposed to have a cinnamon seasoning on them. They were also horribly bland and cut in all sorts of different shapes and sizes so that some of the fries were burnt while others were soggy. The cheeseburger pizza was way too greasy as well. The service had no personal touch to it and even seemed awkward. I was expecting more of a small, burger shop with some unique character, but was underwhelmed with yet another restaurant trying to jump on the gourmet burger train. Overall, I left today $20 poorer with a sick, greasy feeling in my stomach.

Pretty decent burger for a pretty decent price in Boca. Nothing beats Charm City in Deerfield but this is a nice little burger place that delivers good quality burgers. Friendly customer service as well! Would go again!

These guys are fairly new, and I must say they are off to a great start. Me and my boyfriend lined the food do much we went back twice. The burgers are excellent. I also love the quinoa salad if you're looking for something lighter. The service is pretty normal, so the food is what's worth it. You get a lot for what you pay. Good stuff!

The boca burger is bomb! Of course the bread is always what completes a burger and its the amazing cherry on top. The best way I could describe the burger is a home made and fresh.

I noticed the Burger House while driving around the neighborhood. I stopped in on a Sunday before a football game for some burgers and fries for the family. What a disappointment. I ordered medium and well done burgers, they all came out well done. There was some grizzle in the meat. The onion rings that I paid eight dollars for were burnt. I mean black. The fries were cold and soggy. I would have gone back but I didn't want to miss the game. There must be something wrong with the exhaust, my clothes smelled like grease when I got home. I like to support local business but I will never go to the Burger House again.

We had a Philly cheese steak burger platter and a Ocean burger platter for a quick dinner. Both were first rate. The french fries and the onion rings were beyond our expectations. Great selection of craft beers. The desserts, and there are many, we took home and were fantastic- no room after the enormous burger platters. This is a "real" local find. Will be back and will recommend to all who ask. Prices were VERY reasonable!!!

I'm always looking for new burger places and I've been reading the reviews for several weeks on this new place. We finally decided to try it last night as we live close by and I went and just did take out. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered a Black Angus Beef Burger ( but noticed when I got home I got a Boca Burger ), also got a Steak Philly and an order regular & sweet potato fries( each were very large portions). The burgers are not typical and its just like chopped up burger meat on a bun. The special sauce was mayo based way to much was put on. The Steak Philly was the same way. I should have asked what kind of cheese was on there because I never did figure it out. The burger was overloaded with sauce and was very greasy, soupy and sloppy to eat. The lettuce tomato and onions were fresh and the rolls were OK, but the entire thing fell apart and was not very good at all. Now to the fries, both are not typical fries, but like cottage fried potatoes. They were both cold and soggy, not crisp at all. The sweet potato fries had cinnamon on them, which I didn't realize ( my fault, I missed that when reading the menu). All in all it, the entire meal was not very good. Maybe because the place is new they are going through growing pains. I wish them all the success, but I don't think we will be going back.

My son and I finally tried this place for lunch after driving by for weeks. I can tell you the food was 5 stars. However, don't expect to get out of their quickly if you go on a weekday at lunchtime. We waited.....and waited and waited for our food to arrive. We also noticed that several groups that arrived after us were served well before we were. The waitresses apologized after sometime had passed but that didn't get us our food any quicker. The dining room is very cheap and kind of creepy. Don't think I would eat in if I could avoid it. Call your order in and do it early.

All I can say is wow. I finally went to Boca Burger House after hearing about it for months from my coworkers. Foodgasm doesn't begin to explain it. Service was excellent; I was seated right away and had my water and beer within 2 minutes. The burger was extreme and probably one of the best I've ever had. The Cajun fries are a force to be reckoned with. I will be back. Often. Don't let the outside facade fool you: inside it is very fun and funky atmosphere, with good music.

4 Stars says this girl! And definitely better than some other burger joints I have been to in town! They are reasonably priced AND their portion sizes are HUGE. Our lunch group consisted of 7, we went this past Wednesday and all but one of us (her burger was overcooked and her fried egg was undercooked) was happy with our burger choices. I ordered one of the their ten daily specials (no joke 10!)...turkey burger with jalapenos, cheese, cherry chutney, cilantro mayo, LTO...it was delicious! To boot it was like $10, I only ate 3/4's of it! I was so full all day I barely could eat dinner...I'm not kidding...and I'm not the only one in our group that didn't have dinner that night. We stuffed ourselves to the gills. Look at the size of these burgers in my pix. I sadly was so excited I forgot to take a pix of my own burger...I'm a dummie. Anyhow, go it's a yummie place and they have inside and outside seating. The burgers are GINORMOUS !

I've eaten there once the burger came out with this orange stuff I didn't ask for the waitress after getting her attention from kissing a big fat guy Who just slammed the refrigerator door on the chefs head, told me that's the way it is.... Started eating it and it was disgusting... After the waitress came back and said you want anything else.i told her no Ty,then I hear from the kitchen cursing and screaming that I just took my kids and threw down money and ran out... Do not eat here if you want bad service & loud cursing, definitely not for children
